A highly innovative smart antenna company that had already developed a prototype chip; their requirement was for a high-end MEMs driver of improved design and additional functionality.
Allied to this was the need to source secure funding for product development. The customer’s start-up status meant they needed a range of support from the technical to the financial.
INPUT
A collaboration that involved introducing the client to suitable funding sources, then in partnership developing an appropriate funding application.
The process involved a feasibility study assessing key IP block requirements as well as best fit process and foundry options, leading to development of formal specification for the final chip.
OUTCOME
The client was able to access suitable funding sources and their application was successful.
We are currently working with the client and their manufacturing partner through the design and development phase.
We were able to offer the client a flexible engagement model that suited them at a crucial stage of their business development.
